(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 18 - Deputy Premier and Transport Minister
Matteo Salvini's League party on Friday slammed as
"unacceptable" a ruling in which Rome judges said all 12
migrants held in an Italian-run facility in Albania as part of a
new government scheme had to be taken back to Italy.
"On the day of a hearing of the Open Arms trial against Matteo
Salvini, the decision not validating the detention of immigrants
in Albania is particularly unacceptable and grave", said the
League in a note.
"Pro-immigrant judges should run for election, but we know we
will not be intimidated", said the note. (ANSA).
