(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 19 - Defence Minister Guido Crosetto on
Saturday told a press conference after a G7 Defence meeting in
Naples that news of a drone launched from Lebanon targeting the
Israeli city of Caesarea north of Tel Aviv, where the house of
Premier Benjamin Netanyahu is located, did not improve the
situation.
"I don't think it's an event that improves the situation", said
the minister.
Crosetto went on to say that "we think the military wing of
Hamas has been substantially defeated and that the attack on
Gaza can end.
"Today's report makes everyone less optimistic", he noted.
