Pope says 'can't close door to migrants'

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 19 - Pope Francis on Saturday said doors should not be closed to migrants in a video sent to the national congress of Catholic association Azione Cattolica.
    "Feed them, give them a hand so they won't drown", the pontiff urged in the video, speaking about migrants.
    "God loves, cares for the migrant very much.
    "We can't close the door to the migrant.
    "The migrant must be welcomed, accompanied, promoted and integrated", said the pope. (ANSA).
