(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 19 - An Italian coast guard vessel
carrying 12 migrants coming from the newly opened Italian-run
centre in Albania on Saturday afternoon reached the port of
Bari.
The transfer from the Gjader hosting and repatriation centre to
Italy came after a court in Rome did not validate the migrants'
detention in Albania.
The vessel had departed from Albania at around 9:30 am local
time.
The migrants, including seven citizens of Bangladesh and five
Egyptians, will be taken to the hosting centre for asylum
seekers of Bari. (ANSA).
