Tajani proposes to G7 Gaza reconstruction conference

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 22 - Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani on Tuesday launched the idea of a conference on the reconstruction of Gaza at the G7 development ministers' meeting in Pescara.
    "All civilian populations, regardless of nationality, must be helped and I believe we can send a clear signal, because with the presence of the three main interlocutors, representatives of Israel, Lebanon and Palestine, who will meet with the G7 countries, I hope we can take a step forward," said Tajani on the sidelines of the meeting.
    "I am also thinking of a sort of conference for the reconstruction of Gaza", he said. (ANSA).
