(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 23 - President Sergio Mattarella said
Wednesday he renewed his trust and gratitude in the Italian
police forces after they were accused of racially profiling
African migrants and Roma people by the Council of Europe's
ant-racism commission ECRI.
"I renew my trust and gratitude to the police forces", said
Mattarella, greeting a delegation of the International
Association of Gendarmerie and Military Police Forces (FIEP) at
the Quirinale (ANSA).
