Ex super cop Gallo made thousands of reports for Pazzali

Milan fair foundation chair arrest turned down by GIP

(ANSA) - ROME, OCT 26 - Ex super cop Carmine Gallo was wiretapped in a huge alleged business snooping case saying he had made thousands of reports for businessman and Milan fair foundation chair Enrico Pazzali, judicial sources said Saturday.
"If I show you Enrico's reports (. ..) I made thousands of them, I made reports for Enrico", Gallo, who dealt with notorious cases of organized crime such as the 1998 kidnapping of Milanese businesswoman Alessandra Sgarella as well as the Gucci 'Black Widow' case, and who is now under house arrest in the investigation into alleged secret dossiers, spoke of Enrico Pazzali, who is under investigation for criminal association, the owner of the investigation company Equalize and president of Fondazione Fiera Milano (not involved in the investigation).
The prosecutors have requested an arrest warrant for Pazzali, but the preliminary investigations judge (GIP) writes that "it is not necessary" and "completely irrelevant for the purposes of the continuation, or otherwise, of the criminal activity".
