(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 3 - A highly organized armed gang set
alight stolen cars and vans to stop police reaching them as they
made their getaway after a brazen raid overrnight on a DHL
facility in Monticelli d'Ongina, in the northern province of
Piacenza.
The gang also threw three-pronged nails on the road to thwart
law enforcement's efforts to apprehend them.
The armed robbers burst into the facility's warehouse and stole
technological material, sources said on Sunday. (ANSA).
