(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 4 - A 12-year-old girl on Monday morning
allegedly stabbed a classmate in the courtyard of their middle
school in Rome and then called the Carabinieri police.
Her classmate, who was taken to the Bambino Gesù paediatric
Hospital for treatment, was wounded on the chest and a hand but
is not in serious condition, according to medical sources.
The girl allegedly stabbed the boy with a kitchen knife, which
has been found by Carabinieri police investigating the incident,
before fleeing the premises.
Investigative sources said the girl allegedly attacked her
classmate after he told teachers that she had copied a test the
previous week. (ANSA).
