(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 4 - Italian builders association ANCE said
Monday that it was worried that the government's 2025 budget
bill have a damaging effect on the sector and on economic growth
in general.
The association expressed "major concern" about the failure to
extend to 2025 support measures to alleviate the effects of
sharp rises in the cost of raw materials for ongoing public work
projects, saying this posed a threat to more than 10 billion
euros worth of investments.
"We are extremely worried about the negative effects the budget
law risks having on the construction sector and, therefore, on
economic growth," ANCE President Federica Brancaccio told a
parliamentary hearing on the package. (ANSA).
