(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 4 - Ferrari's Charles Leclerc finished
only fifth at a chaotic, rain-hit Brazilian Grand Prix on Sunday
while his team mate Carlos Sainz had to retire with 20 laps to
go after a crash.
Red Bull's Max Verstappen won the race, after starting 17th on
the grid, to increase his lead at the top of the drivers'
standings to 62 points, with three Grands Prix to go, and take a
big step towards a fourth consecutive Formula One world title.
Leclerc is third in the drivers' standings with 307 points, 86
behind Verstappen and 24 behind McLaren's Lando Norris in
second.
Sainz is fifth with 244 points.
Italian glamour team Ferrari are second in the constructors'
standings with 557 points, while leaders McLaren have 593.
