(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 6 - Fears and wars have led to the Right taking power again in America, Italian Left (SI) leader Nicola Fratoianni said on Donald Trump's US presidential election win Wednesday.

"With Trump's victory, a United States of America with fewer rights and less freedom comes forward, an America against women, minorities and young people.
"Denialism wins in the face of the climate crisis", said Fratoianni, a co-leader of the Green-Left Alliance (AVS).
"And this is happening while inequalities become increasingly unbearable in the absence of sufficiently courageous choices to address them with policies of redistribution of wealth and opportunities.
"While war is spreading as a tool for resolving economic and geopolitical crises.
