(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 6 - A member of Deputy Premier and
Transport Minister Matteo Salvini's League party on Wednesday
presented a bill in the Lower House that would enable the
authorities to strip people who have obtained Italian
citizenship of it if they subsequently commit a serious crime.
These bill would also make people who have committed such
serious felonies in the past, such as sexual violence,
paedophilia and murder, ineligible to apply for Italian
citizenship.
