(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 6 - Democratic Party (PD) leader Elly
Schlein had a meeting in Rome on Tuesday with former European
Central Bank (ECB) president and ex-premier Mario Draghi,
sources in the centre-left opposition party said on Wednesday,
confirming a report by Dagospia.
The pair discussed the future of the European Union, the
presidential election in the United States and the prospects for
the Italian economy, the sources said.
Draghi recently presented a major report on how to revive
European competitiveness. (ANSA).
