(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 7 - Three municipal police officers were
badly injured overnight when they were hit by a car driven by an
off-duty Carabiniere policemen while at the scene of a road
accident in Rome, sources said on Thursday.
All three injured officers, two women and a man, were rushed to
hospital.
The male officer, 25, had to have a leg amputated.
Sources said Carabiniere was well over the limit in an alcohol
test. (ANSA).
