(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 16 - An Air Force C-130J took off from
Pisa airport Saturday to transport over 15 tons of humanitarian
aid collected by the National Confederation of Misericordie
d'Italia to Cyprus, destined for the Palestinian population.
After arriving at Larnaca airport in Cyprus, the material will
be transferred to Gaza.
Defense Minister Guido Crosetto, who authorized the special
flight, said: "Italy is doing and will continue to do everything
it can to alleviate the suffering of the civilian population in
Gaza." (ANSA).
