(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 19 - God will ask for an account of the
tears shed in Ukraine, Pope Francis said on the 1,000th day of
the Russian aggression Tuesday.
"May the Lord console our hearts and strengthen the hope that,
while he gathers all the tears shed and will ask for an account,
He remains beside us even when human efforts seem fruitless and
actions are not sufficient".
It is the word "PEACE", wrote the Pope using capital letters,
"unfortunately forgotten by today's world, that we would like to
hear resonate in the families, homes and squares of dear
Ukraine" (ANSA).
