(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 19 - The CGIL and UIL trade union
confederations said Tuesday that they have decided to exclude
rail transport from the general strike to protest against the
government's 2025 budget law that they have called on November
29.
The national strikes commission had called on the unions to
exclude the whole of the transport sector as well as the health
and justice sectors.
Italy's other big trade-union confederation, the CISL is not
taking part in the general strike, affecting both the private
and public sectors. (ANSA).
