(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 25 - Italy's strike watchdog on Monday
asked the transport ministry to cut to four hours stoppages in
local transport as part of a general strike called against the
budget by the CGIL and UIL unions on Friday November 29.
The unions have already excluded the rail sector from the
general stoppage.
The guarantor asked the ministry to curb the strikes in order to
"restrict the prejudice for citizen users within the bounds of
tolerability". (ANSA).
