(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 25 - Forign Minister Antonio Tajani said MOnday the Group of Seven foreign ministers he is hosting at Fiuggi south of Rome were working to hammer out a united position on the International Criminal Court's (ICC) arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu over alleged war crimes in Gaza.
"I said that we needed to have a univocal position on the ICC decision on Netanyahu, we talked and we will see if we can have a part of the statement dedicated to this. We are working to find an agreement but I think it is right, the political directors are working on it to find a text that allows us to have a univocal position", said Tajani, who is also deputy premier, in a press briefing at the spa town between Rome and Naples.
"Our position is clear, we want to reach an agreement with the other G7 countries to have a united position. The problem is also political, it is not just a question of justice". (ANSA).
