(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 25 - Italy will not send any of its
soldiers to fight in Ukraine, Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani
told the press at a Group of Seven foreign ministers' meeting in
Fiuggi south of Rome Monday.
"We will not send any soldiers to fight in Ukraine", Tajani, who
is also deputy premier, said.
"We help Kyiv politically, financially and militarily by sending
aid, but we will not send soldiers to fight in Ukraine.
"We must avoid escalation, Russia is taking on serious
responsibilities by having North Korean soldiers fight and by
enlisting Houthis and Iranian proxies". (ANSA).
