'12% drop in women killed by partners due to prevention'

Thanks to culture started by this government says Valditara

(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 27 - There has been a 12% drop in women killed by their partners in Italy this year, thanks to prevention, Education Minister Giuseppe Valditara said Wednesday.
"This year, femicides in Italy committed by partners have dropped by 12%", said the minister, who last week caused a stir by saying rising violence against women was linked to migrants.
"We believe that this data is also thanks to the culture of prevention that this government, in particular the Minister for Equal Opportunities and the Family, Eugenia Maria Roccella, has started". (ANSA).
