Changes to 2xmille, 3 mn more for parties in 2024

(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 27 - New changes to the income tax 0.2% '2xmille' charity contribution spell three million euro more for Italy's political parties in 2024, according to an amendment passed Wednesday.
    With the approval of an amendment to the tax decree, the ceiling established by law (25.1 million) of the resources that come from the voluntary allocation of 2 per thousand of IRPEF personal income tax increases by three million euros for this year alone.
    The amendment reformulated by the government that redesigned the entire discipline, raising the funding to 42.3 million, which had raised doubts from President Sergio Mattarella, is therefore skipped and the approved text returns to the original version presented by the opposition. (ANSA).
