(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 27 - Premier Giorgia Meloni said Wednesday
the 60-day ceasefire in Lebanon between Israel and Hezbollah was
a starting point.
"The announcement last night of the ceasefire in Lebanon is a
very important and positive development, obviously we must
consider it a starting point and not a point of arrival," she
told the 10th Med Dialogues in Rome.
"We must seize this opportunity and work with conviction to
stabilize the Israeli-Lebanese border, which allows all
displaced persons, both Israeli and Lebanese, to return to their
homes in safety". (ANSA).
