(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 27 - The friends of Ramy Elgaml, the
nineteen-year-old who died in a scooter accident while being
chased by the police in Milan on the night between Saturday and
Sunday, said Wednesday that the migrant youths and North African
teen gangs who devastated the Corvetto district for three nights
after the incident came from outside.
Saying they were "angry", "saddened" and above all "don't
believe the version of the Carabinieri", some 20 friends told
the regional councilor of the Democratic Party (PD) Carmela
Rozza: "those who devastated the neighborhood were not us.
The young people are also thinking of a peaceful demonstration
and of creating an association for Ramy. (ANSA).
