Control Room takes stock of NRRP, 59 bn spent this year

(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 29 - The 2024 data on the overall expenditure of the resources obtained from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP) amount to approximately 59 billion euros, based on the data currently being updated, and highlight an increase of approximately 17 billion euros over the first ten months of the year, the NRRP Control Room chaired by Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni found Friday.
    This is in a path of constant growth that for 2024 should reach approximately 22 billion euros, in line with the updated public finance forecasts, said Control Room sources.
    They were speaking after the approval of the payment of the sixth installment of the NRRP, equal to 8.7 billion euros.
