(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 29 - Fiorentina on Thursday night beat
Pafos 3-2 in a key Conference League match at Florence's Franchi
stadium.
The Viola had scored two victories in their first two Conference
League games but lost 2-1 to APOEL Nicosia and were on six
points along with Cypriot leaders Pafos.
Christian Kouamé, David Goldar and Lucas Martinez Quarta scored
for the Florence side.
Meanwhile, the Europa League match between Tottenham and Roma
ended with a 2-2 draw.
The action-packed game hit a turning point when veteran defender
Mats Hummels made a comeback after conceding an early penalty by
shooting in a late equalizer for the Rome side.
Roma have experienced a tumultuous season as they sit 12th in
Serie A after 13 games.
Roma Coach Claudio Ranieri, formerly at Leicester City, came out
of retirement to become the Rome side's third manager of the
season on November 14 following Daniele De Rossi's exit after
four games and Ivan Juric's 12-match-long stint.
Meanwhile, leaders Lazio were held to a goalless home draw by
Ludogorets on Thursday evening.
The Biancoazzurri had won all previous four games. (ANSA).
