Inflation rises to 1.4% in November - ISTAT

(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 29 - Italy's annual inflation rate rose from 0.9% in October to 1. 4% in November, according to preliminary estimates released by ISTAT on Friday.
    The consumer price index for the whole nation (NIC), without tobacco, in November was stable on a monthly basis, the national statistics bureau also said.
    ISTAT said inflation impacted specific sectors, in particular food products, which registered a sharp increase on an annual basis, as well as energy and transport services.
    Acquired inflation for 2024 is 1% for the general index and 2% for the underlying component, said the stats agency. (ANSA).
