(ANSA) - ROME, NOV 30 - Tuscany, Veneto and Emilia-Romagna
were the top Italian regions for healthcare quality, according
to provisional data in the latest LEA minimal assistance levels
survey out Saturday.
The provisional figures referring to 2023 and based on 33
indicators ranging from hospital admissions to screenings, found
that Piedmont, Marche and Umbria also performed well, while
Lombardy dropped to eighth place from the previous year.
At the bottom of the standings were Sicily, Calabria and Valle
d'Aosta.
The provisional numbers were released by the health ministry's
general director for health planning Americo Cicchetti at the
Risk Management Forum in Arezzo.
The survey with definitive data will be published by the health
ministry. (ANSA).
