(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 2 - Fiorentina midfielder Edoardo Bove had
a quiet night in Florence's Careggi hospital after collapsing
during his side's Serie A home match against champions Inter on
Sunday, sources said on Monday.
The player was awake, lucid and responding to questions on
Monday and he has been extubated, the sources said.
The hospital is expected to release a bulletin on the
22-year-old's condition later on Monday.
He was sedated on Sunday after being admitted to its intensive
care unit.
The Florence club has said that initial cardiological and
neurological tests "have ruled out acute damage to the central
nervous system and the cardio-respiratory system".
The Fiorentina-Inter match was suspended after Bove collapsed.
