(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 3 - Three people were arrested Tuesday for
multiple voluntary homicide, arson and attempted extortion in
the investigation into the fire of September 12 in a warehouse
on via Cantoni in Milan, in which 3 young Chinese people died,
including two brothers aged 18 and 17.
The victims were guests and were sleeping in the building.
The alleged perpetrator, a Dutchman of North African origin, was
stopped in Holland on a European arrest warrant, while the pair
who are suspected of ordering the fire, both Chinese, were
arrested in Milan.
The motive is said to be a debt of 40 thousand euros that the
owner allegedly had towards one of the pair. (ANSA).
