(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 3 - The father of Giulia Cecchettin said
after his daughter's ex Filippo Turetta got life for her
femicide Tuesday that he felt "we have all lost as a society" in
the face of gender violence.
"My feeling is that we have all lost as a society.
"Justice has been done," he added.
"I respect it, but we should do more as human beings. Gender
violence must be fought with prevention, with concepts that are
perhaps a little too distant. As a human being I feel defeated".
