(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 11 - Real Madrid late on Tuesday scored a
3-2 Champions League win against Atalanta with goals from Kylian
Mbappé, Vinicius Jr and Jude Bellingham.
The Serie A leaders suffered their first defeat in this season's
Champions League, ending a string of nine straight victories in
all competitions.
Real Madrid now have nine points, two behind Atalanta, and both
teams could currently advance to the playoff round.
Meanwhile, also on Tuesday night, Bayer Leverkusen beat Inter
1-0, inflicting the first Champions League defeat of the season
on the Italian side.
The result means Xabi Alonso's team surpass the Italians, moving
second in the table behind Liverpool.
Inter Milan are now fourth behind Aston Villa. (ANSA).
