Mattarella says EU must reform, task is unavoidable

(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 11 - President Sergio Mattarella said after talks with King Felipe VI of Spain in Rome Wednesday that the European Union and this was an unavoidable task for those leading the bloc.
    "We shared a reflection on the future that the European Union must have in such a treacherous international context," said the Italian head of State after meeting Felipe at the presidential Quirinale Palace.
    "The new European legislature is called to a task of great commitment but unavoidable, for a comprehensive reform of the EU that concerns decision-making methods". (ANSA).
