Economy min, Retelit make bid for TIM fiber-optic unit

(ANSA) - MILAN, DEC 19 - The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) and Retelit SpA (a subsidiary of Asterion Industrial Partners Sgeic S.A. ) said Thursday that they have made a binding offer of 700 million euros to Italian telecoms group TIM to buy Sparkle, its fibre-optic unit.
    The offer is valid until 27 January 2025. (ANSA).
