(ANSA) - ROME, DEC 29 - An Italian woman was attacked with
acid by her ex in her hair salon at Verbania in northern Italy
on Saturday afternoon, sources said Sunday.
The police have arrested the man, in his 60s, for very grievous
bodily harm.
The man did not manage to throw the acid into the woman's face
because her screams for help drew customers from a nearby bar
who stopped him. (ANSA).
