Thousands of white supremacist sites blocked - police

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 3 - The cyber-terrorism section of Italy's postal police said Friday that over 2,000 items of web content of a white supremacist and-or Holocaust-denying nature were blacked out in 2024 as a result of monitoring of extremism on the Internet.
    The postal police also said it monitored 42,031 websites last year via the National Centre for Combating Child Pornography Online (NCPO) and 2,775 of them were blacklisted. (ANSA).
