(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 4 - The area around Rome's central train
station, Termini, and the city's Esquilino district will be
declared a "red zone" in the coming days, interior ministry
sources said on Saturday.
The move will see security and crime-prevention measures in
these areas boosted further.
The sources said there has already been a significant increase
in the police presence at Termini and other Rome train stations.
