(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 8 - Premier Giorgia Meloni will not report
to the Lower House on a rumoured deal, which she has already
emphatically denied, with Elon Musk's SpaceX company to use
their Starlink satellites for Italian government telecoms,
Relations With Parliament Minister Luca Ciriani said Wednesday
saying there was nothing further to say on the matter.
The opposition has called on Meloni to report on the alleged
deal saying national security could be at risk.
"There is nothing to report to Parliament," Ciriani said.
"The president is not running away from Parliament, she is not a
person used to running away from anything, there is simply
nothing to report." (ANSA).
