dismissed talk that she or her government posed a threat to
press freedom or democracy in Italy.
"I don't feel I have to defend myself from the prediction of
being a limit or a problem for press freedom or for democracy,"
Meloni, the leader of the right-wing Brothers of Italy (FdI)
party, told a press conference.
