(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 9 - Cecilia Sala said Thursday she had
cried with joy twice during her three-week solitary confinement
in Tehran's notorious Evin Prison, once when she had managed to
see the sky and again when she saw a bird making a funny sound.
"In Evin Prison I managed to laugh twice: the first time (when)
I saw the sky and then when there was a little bird that made a
funny sound," the 19-year-old journalist said on her podcast for
Choramedia.
"Silence is the enemy in that situation and on those two
occasions I laughed and I felt good. I concentrated on that
moment of joy, I cried with joy". (ANSA).
