(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 10 - Premier Giorgia Meloni said Friday
General Joseph Aoun will be a safe and authoritative leader for
Lebanon.
"I would like to extend, on behalf of myself and the Italian
Government, congratulations to General Joseph Aoun for his
election as President of the Lebanese Republic," she said.
"I am convinced that President Aoun will be a safe and
authoritative leader for Lebanon, a friendly nation of Italy to
