Confindustria says economy dipping, RTT -3.4% in November

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 10 - The real-time growth index of the Italian economy RTT detected by the Confindustria research center recorded a "significant decline" in November 2024, dipping by 3.4%, the industrial employers federation said Friday.
    The indicator showed the greatest reductions in services and industry, while construction continued to grow moderately.
    The decline in industry, -5.1% in November, "almost entirely cancels out the increase of the previous month", Confindustria said.
    However, for the fourth quarter the index "suggests a positive trend (+2.1% acquired) after the decline recorded in the third (-1.3%)".
