Man gets 11 yrs for throwing acid in ex's face

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 10 - A 26-year-old Moroccan man got 11 years in jail Thursday for throwing acid in his ex girlfriend's face in at Erba near Como in November 2023.
    The man, Said Cherrah, is also on trial for stabbing her in a shopping mall car park last December 9 after evading house arrest.
    After hearing the sentence Cherrah shouted at her "when I get out I'm going to kill you, I'll get out sooner or later".
    The woman, a 24-year-old Moroccan, was not badly disfigured by the acid attack. (ANSA).
