Worker dies in truck accident on A14 construction site

(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 10 - A worker died in a truck accident at an A14 motorway construction site near Forlì in Romagna on Friday, local sources said.
    The man was involved in a collision between two trucks, between the Cesena and Valle del Rubicone toll booths.
    Around 3 pm, the firefighters and 118 intervened and the rescuers extracted the driver of one of the heavy vehicles, who was injured in the legs and taken to hospital by 118.
    Nothing could be done for the worker.
    The roadway was closed for the rescue operations.
    The Highway Police and Autostrade personnel were also present.
