(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 13 - Napoli Sporting Director (DS)
Giovanni Manna on Monday met Paris Saint-Germain executives in
Nice on a proposed move from the Maradona to the French capital
of Georgia wing wizard Khvicha
Kvaratskhelia.
Sources in Naples say that if the Georgian leaves, the Azzurri
may try to replace him with Italy striker Federico Chiesa,
formerly of Fiorentina and Juve, who is struggling to get a
starting spot at Liverpool.
Kvaratskhelia starred in Napoli's third scudetto win in 2023,
becoming Serie A's Most Valuable Player and inviting comparisons
to Diego Maradona , but Kvaradona's form has dipped of late.
Napoli coach Antonio Conte has said Kvara's wanting away from
Naples is "disappointing".
PSG are reportedly offering 65-70 million euros but the Azzurri
bosses are holding out for 80. (ANSA).
