(ANSA) - ROME, JAN 31 - Daniel Maldini, a 23-year-old
attacking midfielder and the third generation of the great AC
Milan and Italy soccer dynasty starting with late grandfather
Cesare and continuing with father Paolo, is to join high-flying
Atalanta from bottom club Monza for around 13 million euros, the
Nerazzurri said Friday.
It is the first coup of the winter transfer window for the
Bergamaschi, who are third in Serie A hot on the heels of Napoli
and Inter.
Maldini, who was doing his medical Friday ahead of the official
announcement of the move, has two Italy caps. (ANSA).
