(ANSA) - ROME, FEB 8 - Italy failed to get a medal in the
women's downhill race at the Alpine skiing world championships
in Saalbach-Hinterglemm, Austria, on Saturday with Federica
Brignone and Sofia Goggia, two of the favourites, coming 10th
and 16th respectively.
The best-placed Italian was Nico Delago, who came eighth, while
Laura Pirovano finished 13th.
The race was won by Breezy Johnson of the United States. (ANSA).
