(ANSA) - ROME, MAR 22 - Italy's Federica Brignone is one step
away from the overall world cup Alpine skiing title, the second
of her career after she became the first Italian woman to win
one in 2020.
The 34-year-old from Milan needs just 18 more points to beat
Swiss Lara Gut-Behrami.
The Swiss athlete has to win to keep her hopes alive in the
event that Brignone fails to score points.
Heavy snowfall in Sun Valley, where the final races are
scheduled, however, has pushed back the times:
in particular, the women's downhill, initially scheduled for
7:30 Italian time, has been moved by a few hours. (ANSA).
