(ANSA) - Rome, September 20 - A judge has upheld a
prosecutor's request for the case against Bank of Italy Governor
Ignazio Visco over the 2014 takeover of Banca Popolare di
Spoleto by Banco Desio to be shelved, according to documents
ANSA has seen. The case against seven others, including the
former administrators of the bank, have also been dropped.
